The staff at the Angel House of Georgia screen potential residents either by telephone or in a personal interview to determine eligibility. The requirements for admission are as follows:

  • Must be a female 18 years of age. Must provide a form of identification and submit to consent for criminal record check
  • Must be free from alcohol or substance abuse for at least 72 hours and not in need of detoxification. Must submit a urinalysis and be drug and alcohol tested upon day of admission.
  • Must not have or had any sexual charges or crimes of violence.
  • Must not be pregnant, and will be required to do a pregnancy test before admission or entry into the program.
  • Residents with severe dual diagnosis will be referred to a licensed facility and/or private provider for treatment specific to their diagnosis.
  • Must enter our facility voluntary or if court mandated, approved to be at our facility by the mandated parties and exhibit a desire to enter a life of recovery.
  • Be medically stable. Have adequate control over her behavior
  • Have the capacity for active participation in all levels of the program.
  • To be able to meet personal needs without assistance.

Note: Falsifying of any information needed to be a participant into AHOG will mean the resident will not be accepted into the program.

Fees:

Angel House of Georgia is a self-paid program.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $100.00 for local or phone assessments. If the client is accepted and enters the residence, the initial intake fee is $600.00. The fees are $200 per week.

Upon admission to the program the total cost is $1,400.00 which includes the intake fee and 4 weeks of fees. For detailed information regarding our program, please contact our office directly at (770) 572-7945.
